Mountain Bike Guiding & Adventures
why choose a guided ride
Discovering the best trails is hard work especi ally when you’re visiting a new area takes a fair bit of time and slow down your progress. Here in the Peak District, Staffordshire Moorlands and Derbyshire Dales we have some of the best natural riding and ‘off-piste’ routes (that’s jargon for not at a trail centre) in the UK.
Take the stress out of finding the best routes, single track and scenery the area has to offer. Let us guide you on an adventure to remember.
Sharing our riding experience and knowledge of the amazing trails and locations with like minded Mountain Bikers of all abilities is what we love.
We’ll review your skills and techniques as we are out and about, which will help you become more confident, you’ll end up smoother, faster and a safer rider. If you need to hire a mountain bike contact us to discuss options we have a good selection of our own bikes and from trusted partners where we can source you the very best bikes for use on our trips.
Information on how our booking system works:

- Minimum of 4 persons required for the experience/adventure to take place. Contact us for private bespoke
- Maximum 8 riders.
- Once minimum number of riders have been met for that activity then that course will be the one that runs and confirmation of booking with then be sent to participants.
- If the activity you have selected does not run to to minimum numbers not reached you can either choose another activity that is running on that date (if it meets your experience) or contact us for one of our private guiding sessions.

SEE JUST A FEW OF OUR FAVOURITE ROUTES
We have put together just a small selection of our favourite guided adventures available for booking which cater for a variety of abilities. There are so many amazing areas to ride we thought we’d give you a small sample to wet your appetite if you are new to the area. We thought it best to give you a choice for our guided rides in the White Peak, Dark Peak, Staffordshire and Derbyshire Dales.
If its a specific route or area you wish to ride or you simply want to tick off those bucket list trails just contact us on the link below or with our help we can put together a totally personal route that progressively challenges your skill level, where towards the end of the day with our input on skills advice you’ll be riding with increased confidence and riding with more control and speed. (This isn’t a specific skills course however, see our skills page for more details on those specific coaching sessions)
We are not limited to the Peak District so if you would like to take advantage of our guiding services and bike hire get in touch and we can work with you to create you an adventure to remember, wheather it be in the Lakes, Wales or Scotland.
our ride grading system
All our adventures are graded so you know before you book exactly what the route is going to ask of you!
Using the philosophy used in UK climbing grading, which recognises both how techincal the climb is and acknowledges difficulty by colour, our route grading is designed to give you an idea of the skill level and general fitness level required to book onto the chosen ride by the colour and no of bars represented.
In order to make sure beginners aren’t overwhelmed or put in dangerous situations, and to make sure that experts get the challenge they expect we’ve introduced the grading system, It might seem a little overkill but we want to ensure all riders on the day get to ride with shredders of similar experience and skill.
